Coach Joe DeRosier has been coaching since 1992 and his experience ranges from 1st grade to High School, boys and girls.  One of his most significant accomplishments has been coaching AAU, where his team went on a 42 game winning streak (spanning a 3 year time frame) in AAU league play.  For the last five years, Coach DeRosier has been coaching at the Adidas Phenom camps in San Diego, CA during the summer.

Coach Tami DeRosier has been involved in sports all of her life - Participating & Coaching.  Most recently she was involved with the Competitive Edge, where she was in charge of their after school program - which focused partly on Speed & Agility.  She's also currently an Elementary PE teacher with Cascade Christian Schools.  At Cascade, she's been instrumental in bringing the National Fitness test into the District.  She has a tremendous amount of Energy and Passion to seeing kids get physically active.  We're very lucky to have Coach Tami heading up our Speed & Agility program.

Coach Rick Roof has been coaching various sports since 1990 (Basketball, Soccer and Slow-pitch).   His most recent basketball coaching came when he was coaching for Eatonville High School in 2000.  Rick brings to our program a great knowledge of the game and a wonderful ability to relate to kids, while teaching the fundamentals. 

We are extremely lucky and feel very fortunate to have Coach Rick join our program.

Coach Justin DeRosier has just begun his basketball coaching career, but has been involved in youth mentoring for many years.  Before starting to coach, he has had many years of refereeing youth basketball under his belt so he's seen the game from both sides of the ball.  He plans on going back to school and getting his degree in Sports Management.  We're glad that Justin has joined the team, where he brings a wealth of talent to the program and a very unique ability to relate to kids.  In the Summer of 2008, Justin got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's now been coaching at the Jr. Phenom camp for two years running and continues to be invited back each summer to coach again. 

Coach Michael DeRosier is one of our part-time coaches.  He's been coaching with Advantage Sports for several years now and participates in coaching in his off-season.  In the Summer of 2007, Michael got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's now been coaching at the Jr. Phenom camp for two years running and continues to be invited back each summer to coach again.  Michael has been involved with Basketball for many, many years now and brings a wealth of talent and knowledge to the program.

Coach Nicole DeRosier is another one of our part-time coaches.  She's currently attending Yakima Valley Community College on scholarship.  She signed her Letter of Intent to play for the University of Alaska - Fairbanks, but with an unexpected death in the family, she changed her mind and wanted to stay closer to home.  Nicole has been coaching with Advantage Sports for several years now and participates in coaching in her off-seasons. 

Nicole had a tremendous High School career and was recruited very heavily, a reward for all her time that she sacrificed.  Nicole brings a tremendous amount of talent and knowledge of the game to the program and can really be someone that the athletes can look up to and ask for advice. 

In the Summer of 2009, Nicole got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  She's been invited to come back and coach again next summer and is already looking forward to it.

Coach Jason DeRosier has been with Advantage Sports now for several years.  He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and a great way of communicating with the younger players.  He's currently coaching a group of elementary boys in the Eatonville area and they're already enjoying a lot of success!  We're glad to have Jason on our team of coaches.
