Coach Tami DeRosier has been involved in sports all of her life - Participating & Coaching.  Most recently she was involved with the Competitive Edge, where she was in charge of their after school program - which focused partly on Speed & Agility.  She's also currently an Elementary PE teacher with Cascade Christian Schools.  At Cascade, she's been instrumental in bringing the National Fitness test into the District.  She has a tremendous amount of Energy and Passion to seeing kids get physically active.  We're very lucky to have Coach Tami heading up our Speed & Agility program.

Coach Rick Roof has been coaching various sports since 1990 (Basketball, Soccer and Slow-pitch).   His most recent basketball coaching came when he was coaching for Eatonville High School in 2000.  Rick brings to our program a great knowledge of the game and a wonderful ability to relate to kids, while teaching the fundamentals. 

We are extremely lucky and feel very fortunate to have Coach Rick in our program.

In the Summer of 2010, Rick got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's been invited to come back any time.  

Coach Justin DeRosier has just begun his basketball coaching career, but has been involved in youth mentoring for many years.  Before starting to coach, he has had many years of refereeing youth basketball under his belt so he's seen the game from both sides of the ball.  He plans on going back to school and getting his degree in Sports Management.  We're glad that Justin has joined the team, where he brings a wealth of talent to the program and a very unique ability to relate to kids.  In the Summer of 2008, Justin got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's now been coaching at the Jr. Phenom camp for Four years running and continues to be invited back each summer to coach again. 

Coach Michael DeRosier has been coaching with Advantage Sports for several years now and is currently the Business Development Manager.  In the Summer of 2007, Michael got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's now coached at the Jr. Phenom camp for two years and continues to be invited back each summer to coach again.  Michael has been involved with Basketball for many, many years now and brings a wealth of talent and knowledge to the program.

Coach Nicole DeRosier is another one of our part-time coaches.  In her last year playing at the Collegiate level, she attended Academy of Art University in San Francisco (NCAA DII - PacWest Conference) and was voted 2nd team All Conference.  She lead her team in scoring and ranked 7th in the Nation at the NCAA DII level for "Made 3pt shots per game".  She scored over 1000 points in her Collegiate playing career, where she averaged of 14 points a game during that time.  She continues to coach with Advantage Sports when she's in the area.

Nicole brings a tremendous amount of talent and knowledge of the game to the program and really is someone that the athletes can look up to and ask for advice.

Coach Jason DeRosier has been with Advantage Sports now for several years.  He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and a great way of communicating with the younger players.  He's currently coaching a group of elementary boys in the Eatonville area and they're already enjoying a lot of success!  We're glad to have Jason on our team of coaches.

In the Summer of 2009, Jason got the chance to coach at the Adidas Jr. Phenom camp and did very well.  He's now coached at the Jr. Phenom camp for three years and continues to be invited back each summer to coach again.   

Coach Tim Lewis has been with Advantage Sports now for several years.  He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and current skills to the program.  Tim graduated from Rogers High School in 2009 and had been trained by Coach DeRosier for many years.  Tim choose to give up playing Basketball and instead focus on his Collegiate academics and is currently attending Pierce College.

We're very happy to have Tim be involved in our program.  He understands the program and where the focus needs to be applied.
